Statue of a Woman: Inside Renwick Gallery, we were in the hallmark for “The Burning Man.” Here, we saw a statue called Truth is Beauty, which was sculpted by Marco Cochrane. This statue was actually a replica from one made at Burning Man and this statue displayed a feminist message about how women should be able to express how they feel. This statue was based on Deja, who despite being insecure of her height, stood on her tip-toes and stretched her arms out, where she finally learned to love herself. |
